About this Position

Underline is seeking an experienced and dynamic Telecom Project Manager to coordinate, lead and have accountability for the execution of deliverables for various complex Outside and Inside Plant fiber projects for Enterprise, Commercial and MDU/MTU Clients. The candidate must be local to the Colorado Springs (El Paso, County) market as travel to sites will be required. Position requires a minimum of 5 years Project Managing all aspects of Inside Fiber Plant (low voltage) fiber construction and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Position also requires the capability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholder relationships, From project qualification and design through punch-list and close-out, the PM will ensure that projects are completed to client and internal specification, on time and within budget. Follow internal processes and coordinate effectively with Underline stakeholders to manage projects through to completion.

What you'd be doing:

  • Provide clear and timely updates to internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Take strong ownership to drive results utilizing strong interpersonal relationships
  • Manage all external vendors necessary for timely completion and within budget.
  • Conduct initial constructability review in accordance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate all construction activities with local and state agencies with regards to permitting and licensing.
  • Responsible for solving issues that may occur onsite and make recommendations based on priority and need to ensure the project and budget are maintained.
  • Create Bill of Material and track Job Costing

Experience we require:

  • 1-3 years of experience supervising MDU/MTU and Inside Plant construction activities
  • Working knowledge of NESC, NEC and OSHA standards preferred
  • Strong project management skills with attention to details, PMP Certified preferred
  • Gantt/project forecasting tool experience required

  • Key skills in any of the following: Low Voltage Fiber Construction Manager, Fiber Construction, ISP Construction, Vendor/GC Management, client facing roles,, OSHA regs
